“E’ stata registrata una riduzione negli ultimi due anni e mezzo di circa l’80% delle azioni considerate di mala gestione del territorio. E quindi è ovvio che se un territorio e chi lo governa riescono a ridurre un’azione criminale in questa direzione ha vinto”. Con queste parole il capo della Protezione civile, Fabio Ciciliano, ha concluso la sua visita alla Regione Calabria per valutare il sistema messo in atto a livello regionale in particolare nella lotta agli incendi: Ciciliano ha visitato la “Control Room” allestita nella sede della Regione a Catanzaro nell’ambito della strategia della “Tolleranza Zero” nella lotta ai reati ambientali, strategia che si avvale anche dell’uso massiccio dei droni. “Ora – ha aggiunto Ciciliano – bisogna fare in modo che ciò continui e soprattutto che ciò inizi a diventare un modello esportabile per fare in modo poi che in questo settore la Calabria riesca ad avere una primazia di condivisione, perché poi alla fine la cosa bella è che se l’esperienza dell’uno viene messa a disposizione di tutti poi diventa patrimonio della comunità”.
