Spendere correttamente le risorse previste dal Piano nazionale di resistenza e resilienza, evitare situazioni anomale che possano portare a distorsioni nell’impiego dei fondi nel nome di un percorso di legalità e reciproca collaborazione. E’ questo il senso del protocollo d’intesa siglato a Vibo Valentia dalla Guardia di Finanza e dall’amministrazione municipale guidata dal sindaco Maria Limardo. “Prevenire eventuali distorsioni che finiscano per danneggiare il territorio -ha detto Limardo- sotto il punto di vista economico e non solo, garantendo che gli importi erogati siano utilizzati secondo le regole normative previste. Nell’ambito del Pnrr abbiamo già incamerato importanti risorse, ultime dei quali i 20 milioni per la Rigenerazione urbana e da qui a poco firmeremo la convenzione che consentirà di avviare le procedure d’appalto e infine l’inizio dei lavori”.
Per il comandante provinciale della Guardia di finanza Massimo Ghibaudo è fondamentale che “le risorse del Pnrr vengano erogate secondo le previsioni del fondo di coesione ai naturali beneficiari proprio al fine di garantire la realizzazione degli obiettivi. Il nostro compito – ha aggiunto l’ufficiale – è fare in modo che questi fondi vengano spesi correttamente; forniremo un aiuto in più al Comune che può, a sua volta, darci delle informazioni necessarie per prevenire truffe. Nella provincia di Vibo l’azione è sinergica da parte delle forze di polizia e la loro attenzione è alta e costante”.
