I venti milioni di euro, riconosciuti al Comune di Crotone dal ministero dell’Interno di concerto con il ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze e del Ministero delle Infrastrutture e della mobilità sostenibile che prevede il finanziamento da destinare ad investimenti in progetti di rigenerazione urbana, “sono frutto di una programmazione specifica per una serie di interventi che interesseranno numerosi di quartieri della città con particolare attenzione a quelli più periferici”. Lo comunica l’amministrazione comunale che indica nel dettaglio gli interventi previsti. “Un primo intervento -si legge in un comunicato- interesserà i quartieri S. Francesco, Papanice e 300 alloggi, per un importo di 1.600.000 euro, con la rifunzionalizzazione ed efficientamento energetico degli impianti sportivi e delle aree verdi adiacenti Sul lungomare cittadino, per un importo di 1.580.000 euro, sono previsti la creazione di parchi, aree verdi di sosta”. In località Vescovatello, per un importo di 2.844.500 euro, sono previste la manutenzione per il riuso di strutture edilizie pubbliche, la riqualificazione degli edifici di edilizia popolare di proprietà comunale, la creazione di aree e spazi verdi. Nel quartiere Poggio Pudano, per un importo di 5.426.000 euro, è programmata la realizzazione di una pista ciclabile con l’obiettivo di collegare funzionalmente una frazione attualmente isolata oltre la sistemazione di parchi e aree verdi. Nei quartieri Gabelluccia e S. Francesco la realizzazione di una passerella ciclabile e pedonale sul fiume Esaro per un importo di 2.122.000 euro, abbattendo la divisione tra le due aree collegandole tra loro. “Nei quartieri -è scritto- 300 alloggi, per un importo di 533.000 euro, sistemi di parcheggio ed interscambio con servizio di bike sharing al fine di agevolare la mobilità sostenibile in città. Un progetto, per un importo complessivo di 5.893.000 euro, riguarderà l’area archeologica di Capo Colonna, con interventi di rigenerazione urbana e la sistemazione delle aree di pertinenza”.
