L’assemblea metropolitana ha approvato il Documento unico di programmazione e il Bilancio di previsione finanziario per il triennio 2022-2024. Un passaggio considerato di fondamentale importanza per la vita dell’Ente metropolitano che, adottando i provvedimenti entro il 31 dicembre, di fatto evita il ricorso all’esercizio provvisorio e assicura la piena operatività della macchina amministrativa già a partire dal prossimo 1 gennaio 2022. Grande soddisfazione è stata espressa al termine dei lavori dal Sindaco ff della Città metropolitana di Reggio Calabria, Carmelo Versace che ha messo in rilievo anche la portata storica di questo consiglio “che riesce finalmente ad approvare in modo puntuale il proprio indirizzo economico e finanziario e dunque a creare le migliori condizioni per poter pianificare e attuare tutti gli interventi e le azioni programmate da questa amministrazione. Un documento che – ha detto – viene da lontano e che è frutto di un attento lavoro di programmazione che abbiamo condotto in questi mesi, grazie al forte impulso del Sindaco Giuseppe Falcomatà, e che oggi ci consente di raggiungere un risultato davvero fondamentale consegnando agibilità e tranquillità all’intera macchina burocratica”.
“Questa assemblea – ha proseguito – oggi ha scritto una pagina qualificante nella storia dell’ente metropolitano, nel segno della responsabilità e della serietà. E di questo sento di dover ringraziare il collega Ranuccio per l’azione di stimolo e coinvolgimento nei confronti delle amministrazioni locali, i delegati e tutti i consiglieri che hanno contribuito a questo risultato e naturalmente il dirigente del Settore Finanze e Tributi, Enzo Cuzzola, tutto il personale che opera al suo interno e il Collegio dei revisori. La Città metropolitana è attesa da appuntamenti di portata epocale – ha concluso il Vicesindaco metropolitano – e credo che adesso serva lo sforzo e l’impegno da parte di tutti, a cominciare dalla sfida del Pnrr e dal rilancio della cabina di regia di cui il nostro Ente si è dotato”. Nel corso dei lavori dell’assise metropolitana il consigliere delegato al Bilancio, Giuseppe Ranuccio, ha inoltre rimarcato la centralità di un bilancio approvato nei termini previsti, “come forse mai era avvenuto prima in questo Ente. Una svolta e un cambio di passo importantissimo – ha dichiarato – che ci consente di avviare da subito azioni e interventi fondamentali sui fronti della messa in sicurezza del territorio, dell’ammodernamento delle strade, dell’edilizia scolastica, della mobilità, del welfare e della formazione professionale. Siamo davvero orgogliosi di questo risultato che ci mette nelle condizioni ideali per affrontare al meglio la grande stagione di investimenti e opportunità che è alle porte”.
Nel corso del dibattito hanno preso la parola i consiglieri Quartuccio, Conia, Mantegna, Giordano e Sera che hanno espresso soddisfazione per l’importante passaggio della vita amministrativa dell’Ente metropolitano che segna, è stato ribadito a più riprese, “una decisa inversione di tendenza rispetto al passato e nel contempo offre la cifra dell’autorevolezza e dell’efficienza amministrativa acquisita dell’assise di Palazzo “Alvaro” in questi anni”.
Plauso ai dirigenti e a tutta la struttura burocratica anche da parte dei consiglieri Romeo e Zampogna rimarcando la necessità di un maggiore coinvolgimento in materia di indirizzi strategici anche attraverso la costituzione della commissione Bilancio. L’assemblea di Palazzo Alvaro ha inoltre approvato anche gli altri punti all’ordine del giorno.
