I carabinieri del Gruppo di Gioia Tauro hanno eseguito controlli mirati a rafforzare il rispetto delle nuove normative sul possesso della “carta verde rinforzata”. In particolare, 71 sono stati gli accessi a esercizi pubblici, tra i comuni di Taurianova, Cittanova e Polistena, tra cui palestre, bar e ristoranti; 208 i green pass controllati agli avventori, risultati tutti regolari: 7 le persone sanzionate per assenza di mascherina, per un importo complessivo di 2.800 euro. I carabinieri hanno anche sanzionato il titolare di una barberia di Taurianova, in frazione Amato, che esercitava la professione senza essere in possesso di green pass. Nei suoi confronti è stato quindi elevato un verbale per un importo di euro 400. Controlli sono stati effettuati anche in sinergia con i Carabinieri Forestali del Nucleo Investigativo di Polizia Ambientale Agroalimentare e Forestale di Reggio Calabria, al fine di dare corso ad uno screening delle principali attività dolciarie dell’entroterra della Piana di Gioia Tauro.
A Cittanova, i militari hanno individuato una pasticceria che esercitava l’attività di stoccaggio dei preparati in mancanza del titolo autorizzativo richiesto: sono stati sequestrati, all’attività, vari generi alimentari poiché privi di etichetta e scheda di lavorazione, contestate sanzioni amministrative, per un totale di 4500 euro. In parallelo agli specifici controlli in materia di Covid19, è stata condotta una stringente attività di monitoraggio del territorio di competenza, con particolare attenzione alle aree interessate dal fenomeno della movida notturna, nel cui ambito, i carabinieri hanno arrestato un uomo per evasione che, già sottoposto agli arresti domiciliari a Taurianova, è stato sorpreso fuori dalla propria abitazione. Ripristinata nei suoi riguardi, la misura cautelare a cui si era sottratto. Nello stesso contesto sono stati svolti controlli su strada e denunce a piedi libero nei confronti di 4 persone per i reati di guida in stato di ebbrezza, truffa e guida senza patente.
