Sono appena iniziati i lavori di demolizione di due immobili fatiscenti all’interno dello scalo portuale di Crotone. Lo comunica l’Autorità di Sistema portuale dei mari Tirreno meridionale e Ionio.
“Attesi da tempo – spiega una nota – a causa di un iter burocratico particolarmente complesso, i lavori del valore di 70 mila euro sono stati finanziati con risorse di Bilancio dell’Ente e dovranno essere ultimati entro trenta giorni.
In una prima fase, l’intervento prevede la demolizione dei due prefabbricati. Nel contempo, si procederà al conferimento in discarica del relativo materiale di risulta. Particolare attenzione – si legge – sarà rivolta alle attività di bonifica che interesseranno l’intera area. Sarà, infatti, disposta la rimozione e lo smaltimento dei materiali in cemento, contenenti amianto, che attualmente sono posti a copertura di un manufatto. Saranno conferiti in discarica da ditte qualificate ed iscritte all’albo nazionale dei gestori ambientali”.
A conclusione di questi primi lavori, si procederà alla realizzazione di una recinzione che sostituirà la linea di confine determinata dai due attuali prefabbricati. Sarà posta una barriera di sicurezza tipo new jersey su cui, a sua volta, dovrà essere installato il grigliato di protezione elettroforgiato.Soddisfazione è stata manifestata dal presidente dell’Autorità, Andrea Agostinelli, “che, in attuazione alla strategia di sviluppo dell’Ente – si fa rilevare – guarda alla sostenibilità ambientale degli interventi al fine di garantire concreta crescita allo scalo”.
