E’ stata dedicata all’audizione del collaboratore di giustizia Bartolomeo Arena, di 44 anni, l’udienza di ieri al processo Rinascita Scott che si celebra nell’aula bunker di Lamezia Terme davanti ai giudici del Tribunale di Vibo Valentia. Arena ha iniziato a collaborare nell’ottobre 2019 per paura che il figlio potesse vivere la sua stessa esperienza dopo che il padre era scomparso nel 1985. Un caso di lupara bianca per il quale il collaboratore ritiene responsabili i Mancuso di Limbadi. “Con i Mancuso -ha detto rispondendo alle domande del pm Andrea Mancuso- non me la potevo prendere perché era come sbattere contro un muro di cemento armato. Potevo ucciderne uno o due e dopo? Rischiavo di essere ucciso anche io e poi magari mio figlio cadeva in quel baratro nel quale ero caduto anche io”. Il collaboratore ha parlato di una situazione incandescente a Vibo Valentia prima dell’inizio della sua collaborazione. Tra l’altro ha riferito che Francesco Antonio Pardea voleva uccidere Rosario Pugliese, detto “Saro Cassarola”, perché lo riteneva responsabile dell’omicidio dello zio omonimo. “Se non avessi collaborato -ha detto- Rosario Pugliese sarebbe stato ucciso perché ritenuto dai Pardea un personaggio che gli aveva creato disturbo”. I Pardea, ha aggiunto, in quel periodo cercavano di prendere il potere su Vibo: “loro dovevano avere la supremazia su tutti però Francesco Antonio Pardea non era contro i Mancuso”. Diversi gli omicidi che le cosche vibonesi volevano portare a termine secondo Arena. Domenico Macrì, detto “Mommo”, voleva uccidere Paolino Lo Bianco, “glielo diceva in faccia” ha riferito.
