Sale a 8.146 il numero delle persone alle quali è stato somministrato il vaccino anti-covid in provincia di Vibo Valentia. L’Asp vibonese, al fine di consentire una corretta e costante informazione ai cittadini in merito alla campagna vaccinale avviata dalla stessa azienda sanitaria, ha diramato i numeri delle vaccinazioni relative alla giornata dell’8 marzo 2021. Nel dettaglio, sono state 322 le persone alle quali è stato somministrato il vaccino; 78 sono stati gli over 80, 218 gli appartenenti alle forze dell’ordine, 9 gli operatori sanitari, 2 i soggetti appartenenti a categorie fragili e, infine, 15 gli ospiti di residenze sanitarie assistenziali. E proprio oggi sono iniziate le attività di vaccinazione degli over 80 ma il trattamento potrà essere somministrato soltanto ad un quarto della popolazione: “Purtroppo ci scontriamo con una esiguità di vaccini che potrebbe rallentare le operazioni – ha affermato il commissario dell’Asp, Maria Bernardi -. Intanto oggi dovrebbero arrivarne altri, anche perché entro martedì prossimo finiremo le vaccinazioni per gli over 80 nella misura del 25% del totale: quindi 3.000 persone su un complessivo di 12mila soggetti. Un migliaio di dosi della Pfizer, però, abbiamo dovuto dirottarle su Reggio Calabria in quanto c’era necessità”.
