“Non possiamo che accogliere con favore la decisione del Governo, che il 12 febbraio ha riconosciuto lo stato di emergenza per i comuni della fascia ionica delle province di Crotone e Cosenza che sono stati colpiti dagli eccezionali eventi meteorologici e idrogeologici avvenuti dal 20 al 23 novembre scorsi”. Lo afferma Flora Sculco, consigliera regionale, in una nota. “La decisione del Governo – spiega – ha comportato un primo stanziamento di 8 milioni di euro, destinato alle somme urgenze e ad un primo sostegno alle persone. Dobbiamo ora attendere l’ordinanza della Protezione Civile nazionale così da capire come questi fondi verranno ripartiti tra rimborsi ai danni e finanziamenti per opere di ripristino. Per quanto riguarda le imprese che hanno subito danni a causa dell’alluvione – sottolinea – è previsto un intervento aggiuntivo, conseguente ad un’azione di ricognizione che dovranno effettuare gli enti locali. Il riconoscimento dello stato di emergenza renderà disponibile anche un contributo ulteriore per i danni arrecati alle persone fisiche. È un buon risultato – commenta la consigliera – nato dalla pronta risposta della giunta regionale che, il giorno dopo l’evento alluvionale, ha immediatamente deliberato la richiesta al Governo nazionale del riconoscimento dello stato di emergenza per i territori della fascia ionica. Questo finanziamento si aggiunge ai sei milioni e quattrocento mila euro già stanziati dalla Regione Calabria, risorse destinate alla sistemazione idraulica (argini crollati, pulizia e manutenzione canali, torrenti e fiumi) e ai fondi che serviranno alle urgenze manifestate da ogni singolo Comune Adesso – conclude – non dobbiamo abbassare i livelli d’attenzione, ma bisogna continuare a seguire gli iter burocratici degli enti coinvolti, per far sì che vadano velocemente a buon fine, così da fare arrivare, nel minor tempo possibile, i fondi alla loro giusta destinazione e non perdere l’ennesima occasione”.
