Una riunione in videoconferenza si è svolta ieri tra i dirigenti del MIT, Direzione Generale Aeroporti, ENAC, Assessore ai Trasporti della Regione Calabria e la deputata Elisabetta Barbuto (M5S), che ha diffuso la notizia, sulla vicenda degli oneri di servizio pubblico dell’aeroporto di Crotone.
“In seguito all’incontro presso lo scalo aeroportuale crotonese di giorno 22 gennaio 2021 – si legge in una nota della parlamentare – ed all’inoltro dei risultati delle indagini Enac sulle motivazioni che hanno indotto i vettori a non formalizzare la domanda di partecipazione al bando di gara, ho ritenuto necessario chiedere di poter fare congiuntamente il punto della situazione anche per sollecitare l’adozione delle determinazioni da adottare per giungere ad una positiva e, per quanto possibile, celere soluzione della vicenda”.
Barbuto prosegue sottolineando che la pandemia “ha completamente stravolto tutto lo scenario dell’attività volativa a livello mondiale mettendo in crisi sia gli aeroporti sia le compagnie aeree. Partendo da questo dato incontestabile, il quesito che si sono posti i partecipanti – dice – è molto delicato e riguarda, per l’appunto, la scelta tra l’avvio della procedura relativa ad una nuova conferenza dei servizi per modificare alcuni aspetti tecnici che, studiati in un periodo prepandemico, ne hanno influenzato l’esito negativo o ripubblicare il bando alle medesime condizioni confidando semplicemente in un ripensamento dei vettori. Una scelta delicata. Sicuramente – sottolinea – la prima soluzione porterà via più di tempo di quello che si auspicava per la partenza delle rotte onerate, ma la seconda che appare come una soluzione immediata, se la gara andasse nuovamente deserta, potrebbe allontanare nel tempo ancora di più la soluzione della vicenda. La riunione è stata, pertanto, aggiornata alla prossima settimana per consentire a ciascuno dei partecipanti di valutare la soluzione migliore nell’interesse del territorio ed adottare la decisione finale. Ritengo fin d’ora di poter ringraziare i dirigenti del MIT nonché la dirigenza ENAC e l’Assessorato ai trasporti della Regione Calabria che hanno accettato il mio invito al confronto e che, sono certa, individueranno, insieme, la soluzione migliore per risolvere la vicenda. Da parte mia – conclude – continuerò a chiedere soluzioni la cui celerità non pregiudichi l’efficienza e la positiva ricaduta sul territorio”.
