Il Commissario di Governo per la Zona economia speciale della Calabria, Rosanna Nisticò, assieme al presidente di Unindustria Calabria Aldo Ferrara e al direttore Dario Lamanna, ha incontrato il direttivo di Confindustria Crotone. “E’ stato un confronto costruttivo – ha detto Ferrara – per definire un comune percorso di lavoro. L’obiettivo è definire e realizzare intorno a questo strumento le condizioni per dare attrattività alle aree industriali calabresi, nella consapevolezza che abbiamo positività da valorizzare e criticità da sanare. Serve un grande impegno corale per rafforzare il tessuto produttivo calabrese che veda protagonisti Regione, Ministeri competenti, Imprese. Abbiamo rappresentato al Commissario la struttura produttiva dell’area crotonese. L’attenzione sulle Zone economiche speciali nel Mezzogiorno è molto forte. Rientrano in una delle mission del Piano per il Sud 2030”. “Crediamo che ci siano le premesse – ha sostenuto il presidente di Confindustria Crotone, Mario Spanò – per costruire un piano di promozione che partendo dal macronodo di Gioia Tauro coinvolga in una visione di sistema tutte le aree, valorizzandone le peculiarità ed il potenziale infrastrutturale”. “Nel corso dell’incontro – è scritto in un comunicato – sono intervenuti Alessandro Brutto, vicepresidente di Confindustria Crotone, che ha fatto un focus sulle potenzialità del porto e dell’aeroporto di Crotone, le esigenze di completamento della linea ferroviaria jonica e dell’asse stradale in direzione nord e verso l’area tirrenica, e Alessandro Cuomo, presidente Piccola Industria, che ha evidenziato criticità ed opportunità dell’area industriale crotonese, sottolineando la necessità di dare corso senza ulteriori ritardi a tutti gli investimenti, già progettati e finanziati, per ampliare i servizi alle imprese, dalla videosorveglianza, alla gestione dei rifiuti, all’ approvvigionamento idrico”. “Il commissario Nisticò in chiusura – è detto ancora nel comunicato – ha espresso interesse per i temi trattati ed ha evidenziato la necessità di definire insieme un piano di attrazione di nuovi investimenti, valorizzando gli incentivi legati alla Zes ma anche le opportunità legate alla nuova programmazione dei fondi strutturali 2021/2027”.
