La casa di cura privata Marrelli hospital di Crotone ha messo a disposizione 24 posti letto per ricoverare eventuali pazienti affetti dal covid. Lo rende noto la consigliera regionale dei Democratici Progressisti Flora Sculco, prendendo spunto dall’allarme lanciato dal direttore generale dell’Asp di Crotone, Francesco Masciari: i quaranta posti letto per pazienti Covid disponibili all’ospedale San Giovanni di Dio di Crotone, ha avvertito Masciari, presto potrebbero non essere più sufficienti.
“Infatti”, conferma Sculco, “già trentotto dei quaranta posti letto, così come dichiarato da Masciari, risultano occupati. Il rischio emergenza è ancora più reale in quanto il San Giovanni di Dio è l’unico ospedale presente nella provincia di Crotone”. “Il presidente Spirlì, ritenendo questa un’emergenza, si è immediatamente attivato interloquendo anche con il ministro Speranza per sollecitare la soluzione ‘Marrelli Hospital'”, aggiunge la consigliera regionale. “Ora dipenderà tutto dal nuovo commissario alla Sanità calabrese, il professor Gaudio, che sta attendendo soltanto l’ufficialità del proprio incarico. Sarà premura della sottoscritta e del presidente Spirlì far sì che il primo impegno nell’agenda del nuovo commissario sia proprio l’attivazione dei 24 posti letto covid del Marrelli Hospital”.
