Un intero paese tappezzato di manifesti abusivi con scritte offensive contro il maresciallo dei carabinieri Michele Sanzo. Così si è risvegliato stamane Sant’Onofrio, centro confinante con Vibo Valentia dove il maresciallo è anche vicecomandante della locale Stazione dei carabinieri. Manifesti che richiamano quelli funebri contenenti pesanti offese a sfondo sessuale al militare dell’Arma sotto il suo nome scritto con caratteri neri cubitali e accompagnato da una croce. Una chiara intimidazione nei confronti del maresciallo che il 6 agosto scorso ha scovato e assicurato alla giustizia il latitante Domenico Bonavota, al vertice dell’omonimo clan e sfuggito alla cattura nell’ambito dell’operazione della Dda di Catanzaro denominata “Rinascita-Scott”.
Sull’episodio hanno avviato le indagini i carabinieri del comando provinciale guidati dal colonnello Bruno Capace e dal comandante della Compagnia di Vibo Valentia, Gianfranco Pino. Da ricordare che già in passato a Sant’Onofrio erano stati affissi manifesti abusivi con i quali si protestava contro la Prefettura per la chiusura di un bar di proprietà di un componente della famiglia Bonavota.
