“Così come durante il lockdown, procedono per come previsto dai diversi decreti autorizzativi, le attività di monitoraggio e di bonifica all’interno del SIN (Sito di interesse Nazionale) di Crotone”. E’ quanto dichiara il dr. Rosario Aloisio, direttore del Dipartimento provinciale Arpacal di Crotone che sta svolgendo una dettagliata attività di verifiche e monitoraggio nelle diverse fasi che interessano la complessa opera di bonifica del SIN crotonese. Nello specifico, le attività di monitoraggio idrochimico, impiantistico e idraulico della barriera idraulica, nel trimestre gennaio – marzo 2020, sono state eseguite secondo il documento “Protocollo Operativo di Monitoraggio della barriera idraulica”, e sono attualmente in corso le attività di monitoraggio del trimestre aprile – giugno 2020. “Per quanto riguarda le attività del POB di Fase 1, cioè la realizzazione di opere di ingegneria marittima finalizzate alla protezione della linea di battigia antistante le discariche fronte mare Ex Pertusola ed Ex Fosfotec – spiega Aloisio – sono in corso le opere per la realizzazione della scogliera frangiflutti e le relative attività di monitoraggio marino. In particolare, da gennaio a maggio 2020 sono stati eseguiti i lavori previsti dal POB di Fase 1 inerenti la posa delle barriere anti-torbidità e l’inizio della realizzazione del pennello Sud. Il tutto opportunamente verificato dai nostri tecnici”. Per quanto riguarda le attività previste dal progetto di bonifica POB di Fase 2, a gennaio 2020 sono state avviate le attività ante operam con la prima campagna di monitoraggio della matrice “atmosfera”; ad aprile 2020 è stata avviata la seconda campagna di monitoraggio della matrice “atmosfera”.
