“L’operazione che abbiamo tentato di fare come alleanza civica del Movimento Cinque Stelle di portare alle urne i calabresi che in precedenza si erano astenuti non è riuscita. Evidentemente anche perché è stata una campagna elettorale molto strana in cui si è parlato pochissimo di contenuti ed è stata estremamente breve”. Lo ha detto all’AGI il cadidato nel M5S alla presidenza della Regione Calabria, Francesco Aiello. La sua lista, al momento, non sebrerebbe raggiungerebbe la soglia dell’8% prevista per l’assegnazione di seggi in Consiglio regionale. “Spero – ha poi aggiunto – che l’onorevole Santelli, a cui faccio i miei auguri, s’interessi di Calabria e faccia politiche regionali orientate innanzitutto alla legalità e alla trasparanza e di lavoro oltre che di garantire il diritto alla Salute, temi sui quali non ho potuto confrontarmi in questa campagna elettorale perché l’onorevole Santelli ha rifiutato qualsiasi forma di confronto”. Aiello, che ancora non ha sentito i vertici nazionali del Movimento, rimanda ai dati definiti per un commento sulla performance della lista grillina. “Le riflessioni – ha detto – le faremo con il dato definitivo”.
