La mancata destinazione dei finanziamenti del Fondo Sanitario Nazionale alle Regioni per le prestazioni in materia di sanità penitenziaria fornite dalle Comunità di recupero, è oggetto di una interrogazione che le deputate di Fratelli d’Italia Maria Teresa Bellucci, responsabile nazionale del Dipartimento Dipendenze FdI, e Wanda Ferro hanno rivolto al ministro della Salute. Le parlamentari di Fratelli d’Italia ricordano che, in una lettera inviata al commissario e sub-commissario ad acta per l’attuazione del Piano di rientro della Regione Calabria, l’Associazione CREA Calabria ha denunciato la mancata previsione nel DCA 4/2020 dei finanziamenti del Fondo Sanitario Nazionale per le persone dipendenti da sostanza d’abuso inviate dalle autorità giudiziarie nelle strutture riabilitative con provvedimenti giudiziari. In particolare, si legge nella missiva inviata per conoscenza anche al Garante dei Detenuti della Regione Calabria, a tutti i Presidenti dei Tribunali calabresi e alle Comunità terapeutiche del territorio, il citato DCA di inizio anno, «contrariamente a quanto stabilito nei Decreti degli anni precedenti, nulla dispone in ordine alle somme relative al Fondo Sanitario Nazionale che il Ministero, annualmente, eroga alle Regioni per il finanziamento delle spese che le Aziende Sanitarie Provinciali sostengono per le prestazioni in materia di sanità penitenziaria, così come stabilito dalla Legge».
