«In queste ore decisive, quelle che conducono al voto di domenica, ci arrivano segnalazioni francamente incresciose e inquietanti. Che hanno a che fare con le elezioni ma che hanno a che fare soprattutto con il settore produttivo più importante per la Calabria, l’agricoltura. Alcuni dei nostri avversari avrebbero azionato una vera e propria “mercanzia” tra i campi, dispensando generose promesse per fiorenti “coltivazioni” e contributi». E’ quanto denuncia, in una nota, Carlo Guccione, candidato nella lista Pd per il consiglio regionale. «La tecnica è sempre quella ma con “un’aggravante” contemporanea – continua Guccione – mostrarsi a disposizione del settore, dei coltivatori preoccupati per la grave crisi di prospettiva, potendo contare però sul retaggio stesso delle organizzazioni associative. Un collettore micidiale di potenziale consenso che si poggia sulla disperazione dei singoli operatori. È appena il caso di ricordare – continua Guccione – che sull’agricoltura si gioca la partita più grossa per la Calabria. In termini di risorse ma anche di potenzialità. Non a caso, e ovviamente non per il bene dei calabresi, sul comando di questo settore hanno già iniziato a litigare dall’altra parte e non a caso è stato proprio Matteo Salvini a gettare lo sguardo tra i primi nei campi di Calabria. Con la sanità congelata e fuori controllo è questo il perimetro più forte che la malapolitica ha a disposizione per coltivare spazi di manovra e clientele. Da qui – dice – la “mercanzia” del consenso, le promesse che gli operatori in difficoltà sono costretti a incassare”.
