“La relazione del “Tavolo Adduce”, ancora una volta, mette in evidenza i gravi ritardi, le ripetute inadempienze e le enormi falle che relegano il servizio sanitario regionale calabrese fra gli ultimi dell’intera nazione”. Lo dichiara Santo Biondo, segretario generale della Uil Calabria, che parla di “una situazione resa ancora più complessa dal moltiplicarsi degli scioglimenti per infiltrazioni mafiose all’interno delle strutture territoriali del Servizio sanitario regionale. Una situazione dalla quale si può uscire solo con il confronto, con il dialogo e nessuno può pensare di calare soluzioni dall’alto. Un confronto al quale – sottolinea – noi siamo disponibili e che ci vedrà pronti nel non fare sconti a nessuno.La cosa che sconforta di più – dice – è il fatto che il giudizio sia come sospeso per l’impossibilità di comprendere sino in fondo i ritardi del sistema a causa di una cronica mancanza di dati e di una scarsa interlocuzione fra l’organismo di controllo nazionale e le diramazioni regionali del Sistema sanitario. Una carenza di dati che non consente una verifica completa e inficia la possibilità di dare vita ad un’attenta programmazione. Un vuoto che nemmeno la presenza di commissari governativi, dotati di poteri straordinari, ha saputo riempire. Ma che, nonostante tutto, ha messo in risalto il dato dell’emigrazione sanitaria: stimato in oltre 310 milioni di euro; il deficit organizzativo ed economico delle Aziende sanitarie provinciali e la persistente carenza nell’erogazione dei Livelli essenziali di assistenza. Purtroppo anche la programmazione appare in forte ritardo. E’ il caso – dice – del Programma operativo 2019/2021 che stenta ancora a decollare e per il quale il “Tavolo Adduce” ha chiesto al Commissario Cotticelli di agire con “tempestività e incisività””.
