Con il Presidente della Regione, Mario Oliverio, ci sarà anche il Capo Dipartimento della Protezione Civile Nazionale, Angelo Borrelli, al Raduno Formativo del Volontariato di Protezione Civile della Regione Calabria in programma per sabato e domenica prossimi, 5 e 6 ottobre, presso la Fondazione Mediterranea Terina di Lamezia Terme. Sarà una grande festa del volontariato ma, soprattutto, una full immersion dedicata all’approfondimento delle tematiche e delle prospettive che interessano l’intero Sistema di Protezione Civile regionale. Sono circa mille i volontari, provenienti da ogni parte della Calabria, attesi al grande raduno. In queste ore si stanno mettendo a punto gli ultimi dettagli organizzativi e sono decine i volontari, uomini e donne, impegnati nella preparazione del campo notturno e nel montaggio delle tende che ospiteranno circa 200 dei partecipanti ai corsi. I lavori avranno inizio sabato 5 ottobre alle ore 9.15 e si concluderanno in serata intorno alle 19. La sessione mattutina prevede quattro seminari formativi che verranno ripetuti in più sessioni in modo da consentire a tutti gli iscritti di poter partecipare. In particolare saranno affrontate ed approfondite tutte le tematiche legate alla gestione delle emergenze sotto il punto di vista sanitario, delle disabilità e fragilità, delle competenze nel soccorso tecnico urgente ed infine in quello in ambito montano. Il seminario sul tema: “Gli interventi in emergenza in ambiente montano: profili di sicurezza” sarà tenuto da Paolo Franzese e Leo Vadalà del Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico della Calabria. Un altro seminario su “Ruoli e competenze nel soccorso tecnico urgente” sarà curato dall’ing. Emilio Collini Direttore Vicedirigente regionale dei Vigili del Fuoco della Calabria.
