“Convocare al più presto un’apposita e monotematica assemblea di Consiglio regionale, in cui il presidente Oliverio possa relazionare dettagliatamente sullo stato di attuazione delle procedure relative alla costruzione dei nuovi ospedali di Vibo, Sibari e Gioia-Palmi”. E’ questa la richiesta che la III Commissione Sanità intende avanzare al presidente del Consiglio regionale Nicola Irto – annuncia il consigliere Giuseppe Pedà componente della stessa Commissione – ritenendo la questione centrale in una logica di cambiamento del sistema sanitario calabrese, nonché “un tassello importante che richiede la massima trasparenza e una vera e propria operazione verità rispetto a quanto accaduto, a quello che sta accadendo e a ciò che accadrà. In quella stessa occasione- aggiunge Pedà- sarà valutato se ci sono le condizioni per l’adozione di misure straordinarie che possano consentire di accelerare i tempi rispetto alla realizzazione delle sopracitate infrastrutture”. Pedà ritorna sui lavori della Commissione Sanità di ieri nel corso dei quali sono stati uditi, tra gli altri, Pasquale Gidaro, dirigente del settore regionale Opere pubbliche ed edilizia sanitaria, e Franco Pacenza, delegato del presidente Mario Oliverio alla sanità. “In particolare, per quanto riguarda il futuro ospedale di Palmi, – ricorda il consigliere regionale- Gidaro ha evidenziato che le date dei diversi step sono quelle che discendono dal contratto, fissate anche dalle norme e che si ricavano dalla somma di tempi parziali. Al momento, quindi, è possibile dare con certezza solo quella di presumibile chiusura della prossima fase progettuale: quattro mesi per il rilascio del parere della Sovrintendenza (nel corso dei lavori sono state infatti rinvenute delle antiche condutture in terracotta) e la chiusura della Conferenza dei servizi, indetta nel novembre del 2018”. Aggiunge Pedà: “Dopodiché, per arrivare a inizio lavori – che potranno essere avviati solo una volta fatta la voltura del contratto con la nuova ditta e la stipula tra Regione e concessionario- bisognerà approvare il progetto definitivo, sviluppare e verificare quello esecutivo, attendere il rilascio dell’autorizzazione sismica e l’approvazione dello stesso progetto esecutivo. Entro giovedì prossimo, comunque, si saprà l’esatto calendario per le volture. Il progetto definitivo, ancora, dovrà tenere anche conto della soluzione prescelta –tra le due in esame- per ovviare alla questione dell’elettrodotto di Terna che attraversa il terreno sul quale dovrà sorgere l’ospedale: la Regione dovrà assicurare la copertura finanziaria ed è in attesa che la società comunichi i relativi costi. Naturalmente, ci sarà bisogno di un’autorizzazione ministeriale”.
