“No al primato della finanza” in Europa: è questo, in sintesi, il messaggio contenuto nella lettera dell’Italia alla commissione europea. Lo ha detto il Presidente del Consiglio Giuseppe Conte, a margine del salone aeronautico di Le Bourget. “Ho pressoché ormai preparato una bozza di lettera che rivolgerò alle istituzioni europee, che di-venterà pubblica e sarà l’occasione per ribadire come da un lato vogliamo rispettare il patto di stabilità e crescita e riteniamo che la manovra sia in linea, ma dall’altro lato non vogliamo rinunciare a offrire un contributo critico alle re-gole Ue. E’ il momento di affrontare e aggiornare le regole europee” ha fatto sapere il premier. “A noi interessa anche un percorso di più lungo termine. Siamo pronti a confrontarci con Bruxelles e siamo molto fiduciosi di poter fornire le risposte che aspettano”, ha aggiunto. “L’Italia – ha evidenziato Conte – è ben lieta che la porta dell’Ue sia aperta, siamo sempre disponibili a confrontarci con Bruxelles, non è interesse dell’Italia subire una procedura d’infrazione, non è una prova di muscolare”. “Sicuramente riusciamo a ridurre il debito in una maniera che forse neppure ci aspettavamo, riusciamo a mantenere le promesse, abbiamo entrate più cospicue rispetto a quelle che avevamo prudenzialmente stimato”, ha fatto sapere il presidente del Consiglio.
