La Regione Calabria collabora con Microsoft nell’ambito della propria Agenda Digitale e di un piano di investimento di oltre 10 milioni di euro, focalizzato sul Cloud Computing e su moderni strumenti di lavoro in una logica di maggiore efficienza e sicurezza. “Il percorso di riorganizzazione delle Regione, iniziato nell’ultimo triennio con la centralizzazione delle funzioni presso la nuova sede “La Cittadella” di Catanzaro – si legge in un comunicato – ha, quindi, trovato un valido alleato in Microsoft, con cui è in corso una collaborazione per la trasformazione digitale dell’Ente. A partire dalla necessità di ottimizzare il sistema informativo e le postazioni di lavoro, semplificando i processi e garantendo sinergia tra sede centrale e sedi periferiche, è infatti stato dato avvio a un ampio progetto di innovazione ancora in essere. Obiettivi: rendere più efficiente l’attività dei circa 4000 dipendenti e consulenti, mettere in sicurezza gli strumenti di lavoro rispetto alle normative, e garantire continuità operativa alla struttura, il tutto con il fine ultimo di offrire un miglior servizio alla cittadinanza”. La Regione Calabria “sta procedendo speditamente – si legge ancora – con il progetto di ammodernamento delle postazioni di lavoro. Dopo un censimento del parco macchine, è stato selezionato un mix di soluzioni Microsoft in virtù delle garanzie di sicurezza offerte: il moderno sistema operativoWindows 10, la suite di produttività Office Professional, il servizio di Cloud storage One Drive e la piattaforma per la collaborazione SharePoint. Il processo di approvvigionamento è attualmente in itinere attraverso le convenzioni Consip ed è stato creato un team IT ad hoc per la gestione delle postazioni di lavoro. Non solo, Regione Calabria ha scelto anche di utilizzare la piattaforma Cloud di Microsoft, Azure, puntando a ottenere massime garanzie in termini di Business Continuity e Disaster Recovery. Il processo di virtualizzazione è partito nel 2018 ed è ancora in corso, con l’obiettivo di ottimizzare la gestione centralizzata dei processi, mettere in sicurezza i carichi di lavoro e semplificare un accesso protetto ai dati per una migliore condivisione e collaborazione”.
